YB. Dato’ Nara Setia is currently the State Financial Officer of Terengganu. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Land and Mines Director of Terengganu since 2022.
YB. Dato’ Nara Setia joined the Terengganu Civil Service in 1991. He started as a land administration assistant in Dungun Land Office and Assistant District Officer in Dungun District Office. He then continued his service with the State Secretary’s Office under various portfolios with a diverse range of responsibilities and progressed to the position he holds now.
In 2011, YB. Dato’ Nara Setia was appointed as the Yang DiPertua of Marang District Council for nearly three (3) years before his appointment as the Secretary to Terengganu State Legislative Assembly and Deputy Director of Terengganu State Economic Planning Unit.
He then assumed the role of the District Officer of Kuala Terengganu in early 2019 and later as the Controller of the Royal Household (Datuk Pengelola Bijaya DiRaja) at Istana Syarqiyyah until early 2022.
