YT-TI Young Talent Scholarship Programme

YT-TI Young Talent Scholarship program was first introduced in 2022, a collaboration with the Yayasan Terengganu (“YT”) to support the aspiration of the YAB Menteri Besar Terengganu who is also the Chairman of Terengganu Inc had successfully contributed a total of RM500,000.

As a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by the State Government Linked Companies (GLC) in Education for Rakyat Terengganu.

One of the initiatives to support the State in the development of human capital and potential talent among Rakyat Terengganu.

YT-TI Young Talent Scholarship Programme

The Requirement:
  1. The applicant must be a citizen of Terengganu, where one of the parents was born in Terengganu.
  2. Applicants and/or parents who are not Terengganu citizens but have been a resident for 10 years or more can apply by enclosing a citizenship certificate or a certificate of residency.
  3. Parents and/or applicants must register as voters in the State of Terengganu.
  4. Preference for candidates who have a good co-curricular achievement record at least at the state / national level.
  5. Preference to applicants from below income families (B40).

Foundation/ Matriculation Leavers
  1. Have passed with distinction (CGPA 3.75 and above) in the examination program preparation (Foundation/Matriculation or equivalent) AND passed SPM with a score Grade B+ in eight (8) subjects including Mathematics subjects, Malay and English and a minimum of Band 3 in the exam MUET.
STPM/STAM Leavers
  1. Passed with distinction (CGPA 4.00 / Mumtaz) in the STPM / STAM examination and obtained Grade A in Malay and English subjects and Mathematics in the SPM exam as well as a minimum of Band 3 in MUET.
